The Roanoke Valley Firefighters Foundation Board of Directors will be meeting on Wed, May 10, 2017 from 10am to 1200pm. The meeting will take place at the Retreat Apartments Clubhouse Conference Room, at the Retreat Apartments on Grand Retreat Drive, located off Cove Road near Rte. 419.

The Roanoke Valley Firefighters Foundation will have a 2nd Charity Night at the Party-In-The-Park-Vinton, on Aug 25 from 530pm to 930 pm at the Vinton Farmers Market. Come listen to the beach sounds of the "CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD" band and enjoy some great fellowship all while supporting a great cause.

The 2017 International Association of Firefighters Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service will be held in Colorado Springs, Co., on September 16, 2017. It is held on the grounds of the beautiful IAFF Fallen Firefighters Memorial and honors those IAFF members who have passed away in the Line of Duty.

The 21st Annual Virginia Fallen Firefighters and EMS Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at noon in the main exhibition hall at the Richmond International Racetrack. This years service will honor four fallen Fire/EMS providers from previous years. A catered lunch will be held following the ceremony at the exhibition hall.
